About a boy

I remember as a child the effect of my sporting heroes on my wants and dreams. We rarely got to see themOn TV because there wasn't the 24 7 consumption we live with today. So to watch the Brazilian team, ian Botham, McEnroe/Borg, Seve Balesteros was magical. In a world with no DVR I can remember my days being organized to be able to watch my sporting heroes. How times change. But yet this week I'm reminded of a special Sunday at Lytham St Anne's when my hero Seve won the British Open. Getting to reminisce can take us back to those moments. We never get those heroes back but we never forget their impact and how they made us dream.
