Putting IN soccer back on the map. A tribute to the guys.
I cant say I'm a Hoosier. It would be true that I have supported them more times in the past than I have my beloved Purple Aces. However I have become this adopted step child of a fraternity that has seen a handful of kids that I have trained go through their program. I guess its those players I have supported more than the program itself. It made me so happy to see them win last night. I made the comment that I cant wait for Harry and Aj to graduate and then I can go back to hating them again. IU / Evansville have always had this edge and back in the 80s and 90s the games/results would go back and forth. I have never forgot that rivalry nor have I forgot kicking some of the present IU coaching staff on the field. Appologies but I doubt you remember. But IU has been a fantastic program for decades and in a State sold on its traditions of Basketball, I hope this journey and success will continue to put Indiana Soccer on the map for years to come. Hopefully I can help by training that next generation of player. Congratulations to all the local boys. A special congrats to Harry and Aj for all they have done to inspire me to keep my training going. At one point when I was playing myself it was just the 3 of us. My only private lesson at the time. No worries on fitting you in my schedule. I'd say any time you want to train lets do it. The dads made sure I stayed busy. Seems like you started a business for me. Its great to have shared in your journey and having got to know your families, I know how proud they are for all you have achieved.
Congrats.
